Combining Hydroxyapatite for enamel restoration, Xylitol for microbial suppression, and Ivermectin — which Dr. K called "Nature's Dental Constable" and about which we decline to elaborate further at this time.
Hydroxyapatite — the primary mineral of human tooth enamel — fills microscopic cracks and remineralizes weakened surfaces. Dr. K claimed to have discovered it independently. He was incorrect about this. The results are nonetheless impressive.
Xylitol, sourced from Finnish birch trees via an arrangement with a sea captain, confuses and demoralizes the bacteria responsible for cavities. S. mutans absorbs xylitol and simply cannot go on. Dr. K called this "just deserts for a microscopic menace."
Ivermectin, present in Dr. K's formula since 1908, creates what we will describe as "a discouraged oral environment." We are not able to say more. We have said what we can say. The rest is between you and the toothpaste.
